Overview

This 5 HL brewing equipment was built in 2022 by Polish manufacturer Minibrowary. It was only installed and dismantled in the same month.

Equipment

Brew kettle/mash tun

• Vertical tank
• working capacity of 5 hl,
• mounted on three supports welded to the cylindrical part
• supports have adjustable feet with a height adjustment of up to 60 mm, allowing for the leveling of the tank.
• cylindrical tank is entirely made of stainless steel
• The brew kettle also serves as a mash tun.
• The purpose of mashing is to dissolve soluble compounds of malt in water and enzymatically break down starch, proteins, and other compounds.
• Vessel is equipped with a steam heating system, stirrer, and sensor. The mashing temperature is appropriately regulated. It is possible to carry out mashing using infusion and decoction methods.

Filtration Tun:

• Cylindrical tank with a conical bottom and a flat sieve with a working capacity of 5 hl,
• mounted on three supports welded to the cylindrical part The
• Supports have adjustable feet with a height adjustment of up to 60 mm, allowing for  the leveling of the tank.
• Cylindrical tank is entirely made of stainless steel.
• The filtration tun is used to separate clear wort from spent grains (malt). Another function of the filtration tun is the possibility of separating protein-tannin sediments.
